What SMTP Server To Use For Office 365?

What Happens If My SMTP Server Is Down?
Email is transmitted through email routing servers called Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) servers. If the forwarding server is not responding, it is usually queued for a subsequent delivery attempt. If it can’t be delivered, it is finally returned to the sender with an error message.
